Amber glass blocks UV light, protecting light-sensitive ingredients like essential oils, natural soaps and homemade lotions from breaking down over time - something clear glass and plastic simply can't do. It's also non-reactive, so it won't leach chemicals into whatever you store in it, whether that's a store-bought product or your own recipe.
