Returns Policy

At By Me, we want you to love what you've bought. If something isn't right, here's how returns work.

Return Window

You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to request a return. To be eligible, items must be unused, unworn, and in their original condition and packaging, with all tags attached.

What Can Be Returned

Full-price items are eligible for return within the 14-day window. Sale and discounted items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged, unless faulty (see below).

How to Start a Return

  1. Email us at hello@byme.com.au with your order number and the item(s) you'd like to return.
  2. We'll confirm your return is eligible and send you the return address and instructions.
  3. Pack the item securely with proof of purchase and send it back to us.

Please don't send items back without contacting us first, as we can't guarantee unrequested returns will be processed.

Return Shipping

Return shipping is at the customer's cost, unless the item arrived faulty, damaged, or incorrect, in which case we'll cover the cost.

Refunds, Exchanges & Store Credit

Once we receive and inspect your return, you can choose one of the following:

  • Refund to your original payment method
  • Exchange for a different size or item
  • Store credit to use on a future order

Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days of us receiving your return. Please note your bank or card provider may take additional time to reflect the refund.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us at hello@byme.com.au within 14 days of delivery. This applies regardless of whether the item was purchased at full price or on sale, and we'll cover the cost of return shipping.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where goods are faulty, not fit for purpose, or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under law, and this policy does not limit those rights.
